Catching blue cats on artificial swim baits on the Ohio river is not very common but this day was an exception, We found a giant school of blue catfish feeding on a school of gizzard shad, I tied on some jig heads and soft plastics and caught them every cast was also using light tackle thus made this even more fun to fish for these fired up fish in the fall.
