Decided to make a video about replacing the reverse spoon/lever on it (old one was welded and hard to adjust what reverse speed) so I can slow reverse down and the gun won't go past it's stop all the time. Also I hope to get the brake rebuilt on it as it does stick at some spots unless the brake is loose. I hope to take it in to the dealer and they can resurface the disc or something. It was easy to replace the revers lever just 2 cotter pins, remove the arm that connects the reverse cam to the reverse lever assembly and remove the cotter nut that holds the arm assembly on. After that it's pretty much the same in reverse to install the replacement. Also you need to pay attention to the spacer bolt part of the bar and try to get it the same position as the old one. After that just put the 2 pins back in and pay attention to the cotter nut try to get it as tight as possible while still leaving some play so the reverse lever assembly can move freely. After that you need to readjust the reverse speed bolt. If you bring the bolt out so the head is closer to the body of the gun, reverse will be slower, and if you bring the bolt back in it will put the lever more in the stream giving it more force. Just play with the settings to where you still get a fast Enough reverse while not stalling the gun out, but not too much that the gun is snapping back too quick. Proper adjustment of the brake is crucial too so the gun doesn't whip back too fast but doesn't stall out and maintaining a constant slow forward speed. If you're running with a big nozzle and lots of pressure you want to tighten it up, now if you have a smaller nozzle and lower pressure you'd want to loosen it up so it doesn't stall out. Also adjusting the reverse spacer bolt on the spoon assembly is crucial too. keeping the gun properly adjusted will make sure it maintains it's longevity and doesn't miss spots or flip your cart!
