New supersonic fighter - Mystere (Refinement of jet called "OURAGAN") tested in Marigname. Designed by Marcel Dassault, a survivor of Nazi concentration camps he is now a member of the National Assembly where he represents the French People Rally (RPF). The Mystere did better than the fastest American Jet fighter Sabre, its speed is 1 Mack over 1200 kms an hour. The Air Ministry decided to have it built on a larger scale to equip air wings of the French Air Forces.
