For our 2017 summer trip we headed to Dusseldorf for a night before heading onto Zurich for two days.
We departed Manchester on Saturday 12th August, flying with Eurowings, Arriving at Dusseldorf we headed straight for the observation/spotting deck which is located up the stairs in the departure halls. The deck offers great views across the apron and of both runways for a very reasonable price of just over 2 euros.
We spent around 5 hours on the deck videoing all of the ground operations, arrivals and departures. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour, with heavy showers and very low cloud as seen in the video.
Dusseldorf offered a great variety of traffic and the deck offered a great videoing opportunity with aircraft pushing back and arriving just infront of you. We have many more videos from Dusseldorf and Zurich to come.
