Kristie Sanders has two wonderful adult children and a husband who believes in service to others as much as she does.
She has been a middle school teacher for over 20 years, and has had the privilege of working with children from various backgrounds. She truly believes through teaching, she can impact the next generation to ask question, be curious, help others, and make a difference in society. For the past 5 years, she has been an instructional coach. An instructional coach works with teachers to develop lessons that responds to student evidence. It is a true partnership in which her goal is to help students succeed. Kristie says that service to her community as an educator has been such an honor.

During this difficult time, it has been challenging to adapt to our "new normal." Reaching out to friends, coworkers, and family members has helped. In addition, taking time to learn and create music has been extremely satisfying. In addition, she loves to decorate and has started to do many projects around the house to make her surroundings as beautiful as she can. Having short achievable goals has kept her motivated to get things done!
It is her hope that through this time, we continue to be kind and helpful to one another!
