Facebook plans to launch a virtual meeting room app to bring people back together using VR headsets

Facebook has launched a new virtual meeting room, Horizon Workrooms, which the social media company hopes will reunite remote workers by using a VR headset.

Horizon Workrooms allows workers to put on a Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and be transported to a CGI environment, along with a mixed-reality desk where they can see and work from their computer screen, keyboard and hand tracking that mimics every move in the virtual world, as well as video conferencing integration.
