Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota is one of America's most inspiring destinations. The four presidents -- George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt -- represent American ideals of democracy and freedom and important periods from American history. It's location -- the Black Hills -- once belonged to the Lakota Sioux tribes and are still sacred lands to the Lakota tribes.
