Описание к видео 🛠 Building Businesses, Changing Lives: Women Agripreneurs in Mozambique

Stories of resilient women in Mozambique who are breaking free from societal norms and building successful businesses against all odds. Through entrepreneurship and personal initiative, these women challenge stereotypes, fight discrimination, and drive change in their communities.

Meet the Women Leading Change:

• Matilde Calima: A young entrepreneur from Beira who has built a thriving business selling perfumes and soaps. Despite facing discrimination as a lesbian woman, she fights for tolerance and organizes women’s groups to discuss critical issues like domestic violence and unplanned pregnancies.
• Joana Barbosa: After leaving an abusive marriage, Joana started her own business in agriculture and organic cosmetics. She now provides for her son as a single mother and serves as a role model for other women in her community, demonstrating the power of financial independence.

These inspiring stories highlight how financial independence and entrepreneurship can transform lives and challenge deep-rooted cultural expectations. By stepping into the business world, these women are not only achieving personal success but are also contributing to the broader development of Mozambique.
