Numbers are a huge and important factor in the marketing of NASCAR. They help just about everyone point out and see just who is in which cars on the racetrack. Some of these numbers have, over time, become iconic for NASCAR fans far and wide. The black #3 of Dale Earnhardt or the rainbow #24 of Jeff Gordon to name a few. Today I want to look at a few of the numbers we do not see anymore, the ones that left a big mark but are not racing in NASCAR's top series today.
