TVs pose a huge tip-over risk to children. The best way to prevent TVs from falling is by mounting them to the wall. Make sure to select a TV mount that is created with safety in mind -- look for things like a UL or other 3rd party listing.

Keep Items with Batteries Out of Reach:

Put items like remote controls up and away from the reach of young ones.

Secure Tip-Prone Furniture:

Cabinets and bookshelves can be tempting for children to climb. Make sure to secure furniture to the wall securely into a wall stud using an anti-tip strap.

Audio and TV Components:

Audio and TV components (like cable boxes and Blu-ray players) should be stored in an enclosed media cabinet.

TV and Component Cords:

TV cords can be tempting for curious young hands. Secure them to the wall using a cable tunnel or tie together and tuck behind a large piece of furniture.
