Singer-songwriter Teresa Suydam performs three mesmerizing songs: “Lost Bird,” “Where the Colors Run,” and “Edge of Love.” Teresa Suydam is a lost bird cross-culture artist who makes explorative pop with cinematic tendencies infused with honey-like vocals. As a songwriter and producer, they chase their own culture and identity with music. Being of Indigenous and Filipino descent, Teresa is a safe haven for other multicultural individuals who don't feel at home in their own skin. Influenced by their favorite films, television shows, and gaming soundtracks, Teresa's music is anthemic in nature with electronic-lit choruses. Recently, Teresa was a nominee for the 2022 Native American Music Awards. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
