Offshore Wreck Fishing for Sea Bass & Cod on the King Cod

Описание к видео Offshore Wreck Fishing for Sea Bass & Cod on the King Cod

Late October had some inclement weather and it was tough to get out on the kayak. Some fish have started their migration to deeper offshore waters around the Long Island region so I decided to go with my wife on a charter boat out of Center Moriches, NY to try and get into some deeper water to see if we could bring home some black sea bass and maybe even some cod. The first wreck was in probably 180' and must have had some serious relief but it wasn't until maybe the 3rd wreck that we really started to grab some monster sea bass. That flurry of fish was in around 200' and then after it subsided we moved closer back into about 150' and I was able to jig again with some success. Truly an awesome trip, the captain is amazing at positioning the boat over the wreck and we didn't need to use anything heavier than 8-10oz.
