Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers are eyeing the global market as overseas demand picks up quickly this year.

One firm that makes farm equipment in Yongkang City of eastern China's Zhejiang Province says they expect their export volume to increase by at least three-fold this year.

Another agricultural machinery supplier in the province says export orders account for over 80 percent of their total sales, with automated and light-weight equipment the most in demand.

Statistics show that the value of China's agricultural machinery exports reached about 10 billion US dollars in 2024, an increase of about 20 percent compared to 2023.
