The 108 Shiv Mandir is a sacred marvel built by Rani Bishnu Kumari Devi, the queen of Bardhaman, in 1788 AD. The temples are arranged in two concentric circles, symbolizing cosmic energy and the eternal presence of Lord Shiva. Each of the 108 small temples is home to a Shiva Linga, and pilgrims often circumambulate the entire complex to complete their spiritual parikrama.
