This is our Nashville Things to do, and where to go including Lower Broadway, the Gaylord Opryland, and Grand Ole Opry, where to stay, and what to eat in Nashville. Here are our Nashville Things to do itinerary:
Day 1 - stroll in Gaylord Opryland, no entrance fee, but self-parking is $33.00 as of this writing. Tip: park for free at the Opry Mills or Mall parking lot, and walk over (short walk) to the hotel. There are restaurants in the Gaylord Opryland, but if you are on a budget, eat at the food court at Opry Mills before going to Opryland.
Day 2 - Check out Lower Broadway, and Honky Tonk Highway, take the Old Town Trolley Hop On Hop Off (ticket booth opens at 9:30 AM) including the Music Row, eat Hattie B's Hot chicken for lunch, immerse in the field of information at the Country Music Hall of Fame, sample food at Assembly Food Hall for snacks, check out Ryman Auditorium, Visitor Center and Bridgestone Arena, walk on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and admire the skyline of downtown Nashville, taste Goo Goo clusters, have an early dinner at Paula Deen's Kitchen
Tip #1 - trolleytours.com/nashville and look for some discounts, or save on other Nashville attractions/museums if you book at the ticket booth.
Tip #2 - Hattie B's at the corner of Broadway and 19th avenue has a shorter waiting line compared to the one in lower Broadway.
Tip #3 - if you have a restaurant in mind that you want to go to, check first online the list of food stalls at the Assembly Food Hall, they might have one there. Taste Prince's Hot Chicken.
Tip #4 - schedule your Museum timed-entry such as the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Ryman Auditorium at the earliest possible time slot to avoid the crowd.
Tip #5- Park at SP+most Parking 4th Ave S. between Broadway & Symphony Place. attractions in lower Broadway are just a walking distance to each other.
Day 3 - join the backstage tour at Grand Ole Opry, sample the donuts at Five Daughters Bakery, walk around the Centennial Park and Parthenon, and check out Johnny Cash Museum
Tip: when joining the backstage tour at Grand Ole Opry, don't park at the paid parking next to the Grand Ole Opry, but park at the Opry Mills mall parking lot near Dave & Buster's Nashville which is right across Grand Ole Opry.
Day 4 - after Church, drive to Farmer's Market, and sample food for lunch, including Jeni's Ice Cream for dessert; Printer's Alley, and "I believe in Nashville Murals", Opry Mills shopping.
