Over the last 3 years as I've been making projects for this channel, I found myself quickly needing somewhere to put them, and particularly in light of the fact that as a former theatrical props artisan, I make most of my art, sturdy and lightweight. I started sticking them to the wall and now 3 years later the second wall is filling up so it's time to find a new one.

A few fun art wall tidbits:

-There are about 250 pieces of art on the wall, though some of them are combined into a single composition and some of them are really tiny.

I created about 85% of the art on this wall with 10% coming from other artists (If it is an illustration it probably came from someone else, my work tends to be 3D/2.5D ) the remaining 5% are literal pieces of trash lol . All of the pieces I highlight in this video are ones I made myself.

The 20 heaviest pieces averaged 2 lb apiece and the other 230 average 2 oz a piece. meaning that there is about 60 lb of art (+/- 10 lbs) total on all the walls. this is mostly a result of not being a big fan of glass in addition to the fact that most of my art doesn't fit in a frame. My work being so lightweight is really convenient for being able to put it up and reposition it quickly as the mood strikes.

While it is true that the eye bowls probably took the longest to make, That's a little facetious because it's really hard to quantify given the fact there's often a lot of trial and error with some projects. having a two or three fails before I produce something usable. But that said, even the eye bowls only took 10 or 15 hours. My art projects tend to be pretty speedy. It's the video editing that takes forever lol.

The one line skull illustration did take quite a while in planning for a few reasons, mostly because I have no experience making a one-line illustration so I was just winging it and also because I needed to design in enough connection points to hold the skull together or allow it to stretch out as can be seen in the skull that's floating away. I also needed to figure out the exact pathing to draw the skull to be able to film it and have it be pretty close to one continuous caulk bead . My thumbs were so sad by the end of that project.
