Sri Appannacharya , his disciple used to row along the Tungabhadra River each day to Mantralaya, and thus, Guru Raghavendra Swamy cane in his dream and instructed him to consecrate a Eka Shila Brindavana here..

Among the places to visit nearby is the Pancha Mukhi Anjaneya temple in
Ganadhala village, it is said that Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy performed penance here for 12 years and was graced with the Darshan of Hanumantha in the Panchamukhi Avataara

You can also pay respects to Guru Raayara paaduke which is kept safely at Thimmana Achaar’s ancestral house, it is the paaduke that Guru Raayaru left in Thimmana’s care before attaining Samadhi..
