SIDEMOUNT CAVE DIVING: Dive Planning & Execution

This is how I am planning and executing all my dives!

For cave diving, sidemount is my equipment of choice and most procedures are always the same because we keep diving in this area of Mexico!

Cave diving is considered an extreme sport, but with the standards we follow, it becomes very safe! It's very important to navigate with the compass and always know where we are and how to exit!

The compass is not just for exploring or for surveying. It's an incredible tool that, combined with the cave line and natural navigation, gives us a deeper understanding of the cave.

To improve your situational awareness and decision-making process, you need both standard procedures and information!
