Innovative tools are improving our understanding of oceans and climate processes, as well as the potential risks and impacts of climate change. This session will highlight applications of cutting-edge science and technology, inlcuding: AI and machine learning in the climate and ocean spaces; state-of-the-art climate models for predictions and analyzing the risks of climate extremes; and developing digital twins to simulate climate and ocean variables and processes.
