On June 26th 2025, a colourful welcome durbar was held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, in honour of King Mswati III of Eswatini, Who is on an Official state visit to Ghana.

The ceremony brought together key dignitaries and royals, including the Queen Mother of the Asante Kingdom Her Royal Highness Nana Konadu Yiadom III, Asantehemaa, Lady Julia Osei Tutu, Wife of the Asantehene, traditional rulers from across the Ashanti Region; and top government Officials such as Asanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene and the Minister for local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim.

King Mswati III, Occompanied by his Wife, Members of the Eswatini royals family and government delegates, is in Ghana to strengthen bilateral relations and explore culture and economic partnersships.
