Type 1 Diabetes: How many severe hypos have I had?

Today I want to share with you the stories of my hypoglycaemic attacks - how and why and when they happened, and the things I've learnt from them. I hope you'll never have to experience even one of these, because they're not very pleasant, but if you do, know that you're not alone.

Hypos happen when the blood sugar level drops too low - and in type 1 diabetics this can be fatal as the brain needs sugar to continue to function. Hypos happen every week for me, but usually I can feel them before they happen... it's only these handful of occasions that I haven't been able to act fast enough.
