We are celebrating the Solemnity of All Saints. We will hear The Beatitudes proclaimed in today’s Gospel.

Brothers and sisters, the saints lived The Beatitudes. They were poor in spirit and meek. They were clean heart and hungered for righteousness. They mourned and were persecuted for the sake of justice. They were merciful and they were insulted for their faith. They were peacemakers. They are blessed because the Lord gave them great reward in heaven.

We invoke their intercession for they are our friends and family in heaven, praying for and with us so that someday we may join them in beholding God’s face.
