To get Auriel's Shield, kill or pickpocket Drelyne Llenim in Ghostgate, the Tower of Dusk. To kill her, you should probably either taunt or frenzy her first (like I did). To pickpocket her, you'll first need to get her to unequip her shield. To do this, you must cast disintegrate armour until she does.

The Shield has a unique appearance, but it also has the same stats as a normal Ebony Shield. It is unenchanted. It can be sold to the Mournhold Museum, but is otherwise not connected to any of the vanilla quests.

Auriel's Shield stats:
Type: Shield
Armour rating: 60 (in comparison, daedric is 80)
Health: 1200
Weight: 30
Value: 17,000
Enchantment: None, but it has 100 enchantment points
The stats are identical to Ebony Shield.
