In the late 1960's, manufacturers began adding aerodynamic improvements to their cars to make them more competitive in NASCAR. The Spoiler II was Mercury's approach to this "aero war" and features a sloped nose, sloped rear roof, and rear wing. Mercury released two signature series Cyclones, one for NASCAR Hall of Fame and one for Dan Gurney.
This car features a 290-horsepower Windsor V-8 engine, a 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power front disc brakes.
