Ecomoment Dash Cam Front 1296P, sample footage

This is sample footage of a dashcam I bought in 2024 for $20 from Walmart. I copied the files from MicroSD and combined them losslessly (without reencoding for maximum quality) using ffmpeg.

To best judge the quality of the original recording, you must set the YouTube player to maximum resolution.

Review
For $20, it's hard to complain. This front-only dashcam captures the "big picture" day or night, clear skies or rain. License plates are legible only under good conditions, like when directly behind a car with no relative velocity. See sample footage on YouTube. It was easy to physically install and use the app on Android. Downloading footage over Wi-Fi works, but it's slow, so I removed the MicroSD card. The files come as .ts on MicroSD card, or they are converted to .mp4 when downloading in the app.
