Check out this video of us resurfacing this garage floor in Plano, Texas. We removed the existing paint and sealant by grinding it away with diamond pads. After we patched and cleaned the floor, we started to apply the epoxy. The basecoat is a tan color Epoxy. Once the epoxy was mixed it was poured onto the floor and spread with a squweegee. Then we rolled it for an even application. After we rolled the epoxy we threw the flakes all over the floor. Once the epoxy with flakes dried we applied the top-coat. The Top-Coat is the protective layer of the new floor. With the proper maintenance the floor will last for years.
