On September 16, 1987, President Ronald Reagan stood on Capitol Hill to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. There, he pledged on behalf of all Americans to rededicate ourselves to the foundational document, and uphold it as the blueprint to freedom.
