Carl Betz grew up in a typical suburban town in Pennsylvania. He knew from a young age that he wanted to take his passion for acting to the stage. He formed a small theatre company as a child and that proved to be the beginning of his lifelong acting career. He studied drama in college, got drafted into the military, and served in WWII. When the war was over her set his sights on Broadway. You probably know him best for his role as Dr. Alex Stone on The Donna Reed Show. He was an integral part of that sitcom for its 8 seasons and 275 episodes.
