MLDJAZZPROJECT is a group formed from the result of a talent search competition called MLDARE2PERFORM which is held by MLDSPOT. The uniqueness of this competition is that each participant is judged from 6 categories (Vocal, Drum, Bass, Guitar, Keys, Wind&Brass) by 6 judges who have backgrounds in the jazz scene in Indonesia. Each of the judges selects 1 winner from each category and combines them into a group call MLDJAZZPROJECT. MLDARE2PERFORM which was held for the first time in 2015 and until 2019 has produced 4 music groups that have release their music on digital platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, etc and have received good review from jazz music lovers in Indonesia.
