Picked up some live bait at Denver Bait and Tackle. They had some good sized minnows to choose from. This was my first time using live bait on Lake Norman. So I tried one of my typical trolling hot spots and anchored up. Two lines with fish finder rigs. 1 ounce weight and 1/4 ounce weight. I used 10lb Seaguar Fluorocarbon with 1/0 Mustad circle hooks. One line was flat lined out back.
A Hybrid ended up wacking the 1/4 ounce rig. At first I thought it was a big cat cause of the weight but man it ran some line.
