(TAS) Soul Calibur III Tale of Souls: Siegfried

I’m late to the this but regarding the unused Sc3 tas that I told myself is not possible, Sc3 IS sorta TAS friendly. It requires more of going through the recording until the opponent does a move, or doing a move that will make me safe or stuff, or reading an oki, basically being passive and stuff and countering. In these sc3 tas I’m just doing passive stuff until an opponent does a move, I can pause and record that and punish accordingly, bypassing sc3’s insane input reading. I can’t throw moves and the opponent will accept it as easy as that, although I wish they could, it would make TAS of this game much easier. It just wouldn’t work that way due to input reading.

Around the Xianghua part, if you notice the audio cut, that’s because that’s a separate recording. Rather than use the record button, then transferring it vlc, I use obs to record the part. Easier that way. Also this is how I’ll be recording my sc3 tas. I am not gonna record and replay minutes on minutes just to rerecord 1 desync. Too much of a hassle. Instead I’ll just record one stage and continue to the next with another recording, sacrificing the transitions into the next stage with small audio cuts. A small sacrifice.
