"Old is gold", is a saying we often hear from our elders, reminiscing the good old days.

And few things stand as testaments to their childhood and lifestyle back then.

More than two centuries ago, over 200 Malaiyali tribespeople settled on the flat peak of the picturesque Yelagiri hill in Tamil Nadu.

All that remains of that settlement today is a single old-fashioned hut, juxtaposed with newer brick-and-mortar homes.
