How Long? How Loud? Cummins Onan QG 5500 LP Generator Demonstration // Propane Generator Efficiency

How long can you run an RV generator, specifically the Cummins Onan QC 5500 LP model off a propane tank? And, how loud is the generator while running, inside and outside of the fifth wheel? These are two of the questions generated from viewers after I published a previous video entitled "How Many Amps Does it Take to Cold Start a Onan 5500 LP?" And, actually these are both questions I had myself before purchasing my Jayco Pinnacle 37MDQS, that I spec'd with a Cummins Onan QG 5500 LP (propane) generator. Before settling on the generator option I had extensively explored a more expensive solar, inverter, and lithium battery bank option in lieu of a generator, but in the end I decided the Onan 5500 generator was my best option based on my personal preferences and intended use case. In today's video I'll demonstrate how long you can run the Onan propane generator along with how loud it is from various points inside and outside of the RV.
