Prairie Dirt Classic 2021- "The Revival"

It was time. Fairbury had paid its dues, was finally ready to take the next step and officially make the Prairie Dirt Classic a crown jewel, but the world had other plans. COVID-19 has put a stranglehold on the entire dirt racing industry. Restrictions on public gatherings, Tire shortages, Parts on backorder…I could go on forever. But despite everything that has been consumed by COVID, the magic of FALS stood tall and produced yet another phenomenal experience.

I'd like to thank Matt Curl and his entire Fairbury Speedway staff for everything they have allowed me to do for the past 9 years. It's been an absolute honor being a small part of what the race track has become, and I'm eternally grateful for the opportunity that they have given me year after year. A special thanks also goes out to Michael Rigsby, Tim Truex, Logan Kessinger, Nate Coughlin, Bruce Nuttleman, Kyle Nuttleman, and Ryan Nuttleman, and Don Wilder for all of their efforts in helping this video be successful. I couldn't have done it without you all. And last, but not least, I have to thank my lovely wife Julie. Thank you for supporting me through the good times and the bad and always willing to be a constructive critic through the editing process...lol

This video is dedicated to a young man who lost his life in a tragic accident in November of 2020, Kory Kohler. Kory reached out to me many years back with interest in helping me shoot video, and from that moment on our friendship grew. Kory was a natural with a video camera. It seemed like he always found himself in the right spot at the right time and managed to catch the shot every time. He always had a smile on his face, and I really miss that. This one is for you, buddy.

We're so glad you could join us again for what turned out to be an incredible weekend for the 31st Annual Prairie Dirt Classic presented by Bank of Pontiac! We hope to see you in 2022!
