$1500 RV Fridge vs. $200 Apartment Fridge (while parked at Mt. Graham)

Which fridge will perform better, the $1500 Norcold RV Fridge, or a $200 Off-brand Apartment Fridge? In this video, we fix a mechanical problem on the side of the road, and Mike works on fixing our dysfunctional RV Fridge. The problem was that the venting fan never came on, which caused the compressor to run continuously while being unable to reach low enough temperatures inside the freezer and fridge! Mike had a great plan to replace some of the electronics, but something went wrong... and we decided to get rid of the troublesome RV fridge and just get a brand new apartment fridge! Turns out, it was a great decision; the new fridge works great and has more room than the old fridge. We only wish it had come i black!

About Us:

Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible!
