So there was one more thing I wanted to try before modding these guitars any further with the other ideas I have. Did one baritone work better in a fuller mix than the other? Not to be biased, but I did kinda feel the shorter scale's thicker string was more temperamental, although both guitars retained pretty much the same tension going down. I think it has to do with the nature of thicker strings in general. Intonation may have gotten worse detuning that guy too. It was also interesting searching for different bands in each tuning. F# was particualrly a challenge, but I happened upon "Rivers Of Nihil" and now I'm very glad I did. I hadn't heard of "Humanity's Last Breath" until someone brought them up on instagram. Feel free to speak up about unique bands out there. Surprisingly a lot of the guitar nerdy type of details don't pop up in a google search.
