At the Plenary Session of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi, Narendra Modi highlighted India’s strong push in artificial intelligence. He said technology is powerful, but humans will always decide its direction.

He shared that India already has 38,000 GPUs under its AI Mission and plans to add 24,000 more in the next six months. He also announced that startups will get world-class computing power at very affordable rates, showing India’s growing role in the global AI journey.
