Roger Gagne has cared about the environment for a long time and he's is worried about climate change and his home province's lack of action.
Sure he's written letters and articles. He's created websites such as Alberta's Climate Plan where he recruited 84 businesses and organizations to call for climate action in Alberta.
Then he got an idea. After seeing the sign guy on Facebook he decided to take the conversation about climate change to the streets in the belly of the beast, right in front of the oil company headquarters in Calgary, Alberta.
Roger's latest sign says "The world is moving away from fossil fuels. Alberta's getting caught badly off guard. Am I wrong?"
This is the story of Calgary's Sign Guy and his "sign project" that seeks conversations with Albertans about taking action on climate change and growing an economy of the future that will still have jobs when the energy transition transformation takes hold. The transition already has trillions in investment and Roger believes Alberta is being left behind.
