In this video, Dr. Groff discusses the new FDA-approved neuromodulator, Jeuveau. Just like the other neuromodulators, Jeuveau relaxes the muscles under the skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Jeuveau is very similar to Botox because the active ingredient is essentially the same as Botox. Studies have shown that Jeuveau has the same duration and effect as Botox. Jeuveau gives patients an alternative choice to getting Botox and Dysport treatments. It is administered with a tiny needle just like other neuromodulators.

Jeuveau is FDA approved to treat frown lines. However, it can also be used to treat other types of dynamic wrinkles, including horizontal forehead lines, crow’s feet around the eyes, bunny lines on the nose, nasolabial folds, migraine headaches, stop the grinding teeth and excessive sweating.
