Here is a test of all the pedals that I own that do polyphonic pitch shifting up one octave. All pedals are recorded with no dry signal and one octave up pitch shift setting. I test the speed and pitch tracking with single notes and chords. This test includes the Eventide H90 Percussive & Pitched algorithms, Boss OC-5, pre-lawsuit V1 Mooer Tender Octaver (very similar to the Micro POG), EHX Pitch Fork, EHX Pitch Fork +, and HX Stomp Poly Pitch (settings on x-fast).

IMO the Pitch Fork (regular & plus), Mooer Tender, and the Eventide H90 ("Percussive" setting) sound very similar. The Mooer Tender Octaver has less low end and I feel is less garbled on some of the more complex chords. I don't own an EHX Micro POG, but I assume it is the same since they allegedly sued Mooer for copying it. The clear winner in pitch tracking is the H90 in the "Pitched" setting. It has very natural and beautiful polyphonic pitch shifting. It has a slight lag in this setting, but it is barely noticeable when actually playing it in parallel with a dry bass signal. It almost sounds like it just has a bit of reverb. Unfortunately, the OC-5 and HX Stomp Poly Pitch have a less natural sound than the others, and often sound plain bad. I admit I didn't mess with the HX settings very much, so there may be a more optimal setting. It sounded pretty crappy with any setting, so I just left it on x-fast. The OC-5 is still my favorite octave-down pedal, so it is still worth owning!
