What We Should Be Fighting For (Live at Crossover Festival)

Thanks so much to the folks at Fat Pigeon Live for recording this gig at the wonderful Crossover Festival back in July. Here's my song 'What We Should Be Fighting For'.

The song focusses on our attitude to live music - whether you want to measure it by how much happier it makes people or the economic benefits live music works. The two inspirations for the song were the Brexit negotiations and the potential abandonment of 90 days visa-free travel for musicians (thankfully averted in the end) and also a quote attributed to Winston Churchill during the war when asked about arts funding cuts - 'well what are we fighting for'. He may have said it, he may not, but the point still stands! Hope you enjoy the song.
