In a historically significant, extensive, and intimate interview, David Susskind engaged with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on June 9, 1963, which was originally broadcasted by WPIX-TV New York. The conversation covered various topics, including the ongoing American Civil Rights Movement and the then-recent events in Birmingham, Alabama. The interview has been recently restored by the Paley Center.
