After making his long-awaited role debut as Otello in 2017, where he sang “an Otello for the Ages” (The New York Times), Jonas Kaufmann has now recorded the summit of tenor roles under ultimate studio conditions. Soprano Federica Lombardi gives her role debut as Desdemona and baritone Carlos Álvarez takes the role of Jago.
