What is GP Series?
GP Series is a computerised for fun 'alternate reality' of the entire history of Formula One using the 1996 game Grand Prix 2. The aim of this series is to see how Formula 1's history pans out on a video game.

Each season will have 16 races.
Seasons will be made up of official and non-championship races if there were less than 16 in the real life F1 season. If mods are limited, a fictional track may appear!
Real life seasons with more than 16 races will see 16 races cherry picked for the season.
The real life F1 points system used in 2010-2018 will be used for the alternate reality.
Qualifying is an automated 30 minute session

Reminder - this is a 'for fun' series. Whilst I've tried to be historical, there are going to be a few unrealistic elements due to limitations on mod availability/game e.g. exact track layout, sounds, tyres, driver swaps etc.
