Learn how I make a beautiful Focaccia Bread in the Ooni Pro Outdoor Pizza Oven using the Ooni Pro Gas Burner attachment.

Dough Recipe:

INGREDIENTS
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Quick Rise Yeast
1 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp Salt
3/4 cup Warm Water
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

METHOD
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Mix wet ingredients.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
4. Using a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, knead for 3 minutes. The dough should be pulling away from the walls of the mixer, if not, simply add a little more warm water.
5. Cover and rise for 10 minutes.
6. Shape, cover & rise for an additional 20 minutes.

Focaccia Bread Recipe:

INGREDIENTS
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Smoked Sea Salt
Dry Rosemary

METHOD
1. Pre-heat the Ooni Pro on High for 30 minutes with the door off.
2. Spread extra virgin olive around the bottom of a Detroit Style Pizza Pan.
3. Place the dough ball in the pan, and from the centre, work the dough into the four corners.
4. Brush the dough with extra virgin olive oil.
5. Using your protective gloves, slide the pan into the back of the oven. Let it cook for 1.5 minutes.
6. Rotate 180 degrees and back in for 1.5 minutes.
7. Rotate 180 degrees and place it at the front of the oven for 1 minute.
8. Turn off the gas, push the focaccia bread to the back of the oven, put on the glass door and let cook on the hot stones for 5 minutes.
9. Take off the door and you have a beautiful focaccia bread.
