pushing daisies. I have wanted to watch pushing daisies quite literally ever since it came out in 2007 and I genuinely cannot tell you why I hadn't yet.
partly because I knew it only had 20 something episodes and I'd love it and hate to see it end after such a short time, partly I was maybe scared that I was so sure I would love it and then I wouldn't.

clearly, I loved it. I LOVE IT.

everybody should watch this series: it's smart, it's funny, it's silly, it's colourful, it's cinematic, it is simply adorable. personally, it has everything I love in a series, down to the random but organic musical numbers by none other than kristin chenoweth herself aka glinda from wicked aka april from glee.

*if for any reason you are reading this and don't know the series, I won't say much except ned and chuck are meant to be but they cannot and will never be able to touch and it's sad and it's beautiful and here's a video about it

I would just like to say pushing daisies has clearly become one of my absolute favourite tv series of all time and everybody should watch it because it's really ridiculously short and extremely well done (written/directed/performed/everything'd).
