Our Saga double hand rods were built with the best materials and components that we could find. Designed to be excellent Scandi rods, but they also work great with Skagit lines, and trout speys (4wt) as well.

The blanks are constructed from very high modulus carbon and include a special Graphene resin that allows for the blank to remain light, crisp, and more durable than many other alternatives. The Saga is wrapped with REC Cerecoil Stripper guides that have an unbreakable titanium frame and replaceable ceramic inserts, followed by REC titanium snake guides. REC Components are made right here in the USA, and well known to make some of the most technically advanced components in the industry.

The reel seat is aluminum with a satin finish and has 2 self -aligning locking rings. We designed the handle with quarter inch cork rings and to be slightly thinner than traditional handles/grips to generate a better feel and response when loading the rod, and finished it with a custom set of burl and composite cork materials for durability and some extra personality.

The Saga Series includes the rod and a quality rod sock. Rod tubes are not included in the price of the rod. We did this to give you the choice of what to spend your money on.
