Giuseppe Ragusa is Professor of Economics of the Economics and Finance Department at LUISS Guido Carli University. He does research on econometrics, labor economics and macroeconomic models.
In his speech, he will walk us through the world of econometrics and show us how a proper use of big data can help us fight discrimination in the workplace.

Prof. Ragusa holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, USA. He has taught economics at the University of California, Irvine (USA) and at Rutgers University, New Jersey (USA). Since 2010 he is part of NEUJOBS, a research program financed by the European Commission, within the 7th Framework Programme which aggregates all EU research initiatives connected to reaching growth, competitiveness and employment objectives. The aim of this project is to analyze possible future developments of the European labor market.



Giuseppe Ragusa teaches in the Department of Economics and Business and in the Business School at LUISS University.
His research is mostly about econometric methods, labour economics, and macro models. He is also interested in computational methods.
