-Total route 233.85 kms, speed 200 kms per hour, 250 kms in future.
-Important stations: Nashik Road, Shinde, Mohdari, Sinnar, Dodi, Chas, Devthan, Sangamner, Sakur, Botha, Alephata, Narayangaon, Manchar, Rajgurunagar, Chakan, Alandi, Wagholi, Manjiri, Hadapsar, Pune.
-Responsibility of this project to Maharashtra Railway Infrastructure Development Corporation. Expenditure of 16 thousand 39 crores is expected including land acquisition, construction etc. The share of the Ministry of Railways and the State Government is 20 per cent each. 60% sanctioned by Punjab National and State Bank.
Passengers from both the cities are staring at this new railway line.

७ जून २०२१ | देशातील हा पहिलाच सेमी हायस्पीड मार्ग असून, नाशिक-पुणे अंतर विक्रमी दोन तासांच्या आत गाठता येणे शक्य होणार आहे. शिवाय या तिन्ही जिल्ह्यांचा मोठा विकास होणार आहे. भूसंपादनासह हा प्रकल्प साडेतीन वर्षांत पूर्ण होण्याची अपेक्षा आहे.
नाशिक-पुणे अंतर केवळ पावणे दोन तासात, देशातील पहिली सेमी हायस्पीड रेल्वे दोन्ही शहरात धावणार
या रेल्वेमुळे नाशिक ते पुणे अंतर अवघ्या पावणे दोन तासात पार करता येणार आहे.
या दोन्ही महानगरांदरम्यान देशातील पहिली सेमी हायस्पीड रेल्वे धावणार आहे. नाशिक-पुणे दरम्यान रेल्वे सेवा सुरु करण्याची ही अनेक वर्षांची मागणी आता प्रत्यक्षात येणार असून लोहमार्गाच्या कामाला लवकरच मुहूर्त लागणार आहे.
-एकूण मार्ग २३३.८५ किलोमीटर, वेग ताशी २०० किलोमीटर, भविष्यात २५० किलोमीटर.
-महत्त्वाची स्थानके : नाशिकरोड, शिंदे, मोहदरी, सिन्नर, दोडी, चास, देवठाण, संगमनेर, साकूर, बोटा, आळेफाटा, नारायणगाव, मंचर, राजगुरूनगर, चाकण, आळंदी, वाघोली, मंजिरी, हडपसर, पुणे.
-महाराष्ट्र रेल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेव्हलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशनकडे या प्रकल्पाची जबाबदारी. भूसंपादन, बांधकाम आदींसह १६ हजार ३९ कोटींचा खर्च अपेक्षित. रेल्वे मंत्रालय आणि राज्य सरकारनाचा वाटा प्रत्येकी २० टक्के समभागमूल्य आहे. ६० टक्के रक्कम पंजाब नॅशनल व स्टेट बँकेकडून मंजूर.
या नव्या रेल्वे मार्गाकडे दोन्ही शहरातील प्रवासी डोळे लावून बसले आहेत.
