King Suryavarman II's Royal Parade Orchestra at Angkor Wat – by Sounds of Angkor

La troupe Sounds of Angkor joue l’orchestre de parade royale du roi Suryavarman II pour la première fois depuis le 12e siècle dans l'enceinte même du temple Angkor Vat. Cet ensemble a été reconstitué par l'ethnomusicologue français Patrick Kersalé à partir d’un bas-relief du temple situé dans la galerie extérieure sud.

The Sounds of Angkor troupe plays King Suryavarman II's royal parade orchestra for the first time since the 12th century on the grounds of the Angkor Wat Temple itself. This ensemble was reconstructed by the French ethnomusicologist Patrick Kersalé from a bas-relief of the temple located in the south outer gallery.
